Financial Implementation of Gender Action Plan (FIGAP) phase II

Aim: Improve gender mainstreaming in decision-making in Bosnia and Herzegovina to improve the socio-economic conditions of women and men, girls and boys.

How: FIGAP is a financial mechanism that provides financial assistance for implementation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s national Gender Action Plan 2018-2022, to stakeholders around the country. The Agency for Gender Equality at national level, and the two Gender Centers in Republika Srpska and Federation BiH, are coordinating and managing the project. The project works with various issues, among them capacity building of institutions to better gender mainstream all areas of public and private life.

Why: The ultimate beneficiaries are women and men who are subject to gender-based discrimination and gender inequality. The program will enhance their rights, options, and opportunities.
