Green Economic Development phase III – Energy Efficiency in Public Sector Buildings

Aim: Further facilitate and scaling up of energy efficiency projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina 

How: The second phase of the project has achieved many good results and has managed in scaling up energy efficiency in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the creation of a favourable environment for investing in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources measures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, primarily in public sector buildings. 

Why: The project directly contributes to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU accession process by enabling environmental protection funds in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entities to monitor, analyze and evaluate energy consumption, costs, emission, energy investments and savings data from public sector buildings. The intervention will also support Bosnia and Herzegovina’s related energy efficiency and renewable energy targets by providing financial support to energy efficiency infrastructure projects and contributing to enable a favourable environment for energy efficiency investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
